Your privacy is important to us.

It is Ghostfeed's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. Accordingly, we have developed this privacy policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and otherwise make use of personal information. We have outlined our privacy policy below.

Google Sign-In

Ghostfeed was previously called Shorts Bro. When you sign in with Google, Google sends us an identity token. We verify this token and receive your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile picture. We store these profile details in our account database to create or update your Ghostfeed account, recognize you when you return, and display your profile. We then create a Ghostfeed session using an HTTP-only cookie.

Google Sign-In does not give Ghostfeed access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendar. We do not receive your Google password. This sign-in flow does not request Google API access tokens or refresh tokens.

How We Use and Share Account Data

We use your account information to provide Ghostfeed features, manage your workspaces and subscription, provide support, and send service and onboarding emails. We use account and usage information to understand how people use Ghostfeed and to improve the service.

Our hosting and database providers process account data to operate the service. We send your name, email address, and account identifier to Resend for account contact records and email delivery. We send your name, email address, account identifier, and applicable team information to PostHog for product analytics. When we create a billing account, we send your name, email address, and Ghostfeed account identifier to Stripe to manage payments and subscriptions.

Information Collection and Use

We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned. We will collect and use personal information solely for fulfilling purposes as outlined by our business needs.

Assets and Training

We process the assets you submit or create through the Service to provide the features you request. Ghostfeed may use your assets to train or improve its own AI models unless you turn off Allow training on my assets in Training settings in your account menu. When you turn it off, Ghostfeed stops using your assets to train.

We use third-party AI model providers to deliver some features. Depending on the feature, providers that receive the media needed for a request may include fal.ai, Replicate, Google, and BytePlus. These providers may have their own data-use and retention rules, including rules for model training. Your Ghostfeed training choice does not control a provider's processing or training. We cannot promise that every third-party provider will follow your choice. Contact us before submitting sensitive media if you need provider-specific terms for a feature.

Data Accuracy and Relevance

Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up to date.

Data Protection

We will protect personal information by using reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

Our public website and API use HTTPS. We verify Google identity tokens on the server before creating a session. Session cookies are HTTP-only and use the Secure flag in production. We use authentication and workspace access checks to restrict access to account content.

Data Retention

We will only retain personal information for as long as necessary for the fulfilment of those purposes.

This includes the Google profile details stored with your Ghostfeed account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. Some records may need to be retained for billing, security, or legal obligations.

You can remove Ghostfeed's Google connection in your Google Account settings. Removing that connection does not automatically delete data already stored by Ghostfeed. Contact us to request deletion of that data.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained. Ghostfeed may change this privacy policy from time to time at Ghostfeed's sole discretion.
