Where do I add the JSON-LD to my page?
Paste the generated block inside a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag in the <head> of the page that embeds the video. In Next.js you can use the Script component or the new metadata API.
Is upload date required?
Google's documentation lists uploadDate as required for video rich results eligibility. Without it, the structured data is valid schema.org but may not qualify for enhanced search listings.
How do I find the video duration in seconds?
On YouTube, open the video and note the total runtime shown in the player. Multiply hours × 3600, add minutes × 60, then add seconds. Or check "Stats for nerds" in the player context menu.
